HOT WATER HEATER – TVA and Prentiss County EPA will give a customer $50.00 credit on their electric bill for purchasing a 40 gallon or larger hot water heater (random inspections).
HEAT PUMP FINANCING – TVA and Prentiss County EPA will, with credit approval, finance a central electric heat pump up to 10 years with the monthly payments added to the electric bill. The interest rate is 8% for 13 SEER electric heat pumps and 6% for 14.5 SEER and greater units through September 30th. IN-HOME ENERGY EVALUATION PROGRAM – If you agree to pay $50 up front, TVA will send an trained energy evaluator to your home to evaluate your home and make recommendations for energy saving improvements that need to be made. If you make some of the improvements that are recommended, TVA will reimburse you 50%(up to $500) of what you spend up to $1000 plus your will get your original $50 up front money back.
